The Tourism Management Committee (TMC) was established in 2001 and has been working since then to promote rural tourism in Ghalegaun and enhance the value of rural tourism among the local community.  The Committee monitors the homestays to ensure consistency and that all homes meet the established quality standards. The TMC assigns guests on a rotating basis to all the homestays in Ghalegaun.  Income from tourism is shared among the villagers. The TMC office is located at the entrance of Ghalegaun. Mr. Prem Bahadur Ghale serves as the chairperson of the TMC.
